New Players- IMPORTANT - please remember to leave a comment when you post your art tag on Mr. Linky! It sends me an email that alerts me you have posted a tag!

Loved all the imaginative #7 tags!!

This week, the theme is SUMMER. Make the tag with your idea of summer, even if you are living Down Under! This is a two week tag!

Tag made with decorative tape, ceramic watermelon slice, vintage advertising image, ribbon, tiny bird brad, Stickles, Diamond Glaze, Sakura pens and Distress Inks.

My apologies, friends, because I am showing a tag which I've shown before. I have had several health issues in the past few days because of my chronic illness, and we have also been going through a serious family issue. I hope you understand. And because next week is the US  4th of July holiday, I am taking a break from Tag Tuesday so this will be a two week tag! We will resume on 12 July and hopefully I will be feeling much better.

Tag Tuesday - Number 7

New Players- IMPORTANT - please remember to leave a comment when you post your art tag on Mr. Linky! It sends me an email that alerts me you have posted a tag!

Fabulous Bird tags last week, I love the creativity!

This week the tag will use a number on it - the number seven. So, you can put seven things on it, or use seven colors, or just use the number, but make sure the number seven (7) is the focus of your tag!

I cut my tag from a collage of scraps I had made several months ago and used a texture fade on it. I used alcohol ink on the metal items and covered an old round tag with tissue tape. A sequin waste scrap is used on the tag, and I stuck a scrap of old printing in the file label holder and hung a smaller 7 on it. An old washer and twine finishes the tag at the top.

Tag Tuesday - The Bird Tag

What great Manly Tags for last week! Wasn't that a fun challenge?

For the tag today, make a Bird as the main focal point!

I made the background for my tag with acrylic paints, Golden Bead Gel, rubber stamping and gold leaf pen around the edge. I cutout the bird from a greeting card, added some fabric leaves and a gem for his eye. The tag is finished off with small gold braid in two of the corners.

Tag Tuesday - The Manly Tag!

New Players- IMPORTANT - please remember to leave a comment when you post your art tag on Mr. Linky! It sends me an email that alerts me you have posted a tag!

There were so many lovely pink and green tags this past week! Thank you for playing.

In honor of Father's Day coming up here in the US, let's make a Manly Tag! Make your tag with a Masculine theme.

I cut up a copy of an old humorous postcard I had and touched it up with Micron pens and brush pens. I stained the tag with a color wash and distressed inks, used Micron pens again and added some ribbon. The metal pieces are from Tim Holtz, except for the brad. For any readers who may not know, back in the day when automobiles were becoming popular, some of them had to be cranked to start and some had a new fangled starter button you just had to push. The cranks were difficult, sometimes even causing injury to the person trying to turn it. I love the drawings!

This is the first tag I ever made for a Tag Tuesday challenge! I've had a rough week with health issues and I hope you don't mind if I reuse a tag from a year ago.
