Flutter by, Butterfly! A wonderful group of tags for last week's challenge!

Today's challenge will be a litle bit different - I want you to make a tag in 10 minutes or less. Gather your things together, then start work and stop when you have spent no more than ten minutes creating your tag. Start timing yourself when you start on the tag, don't count the time you spend laying out your materials. Be honest, now! :) And don't be afraid to try!!

My tag is cut from cardstock, with part of a doily on top. Ribbon was added, and a page torn from a dictionary, an Eiffel tower brad and a metal wine label.  Distress ink and a jeweled brad finish it.

Tag Tuesday - Butterfly

Those were some very creative tags for Black and Orange! Such a talented group of artists!


Today's theme is Butterfly - I saw so many on the challenge last week, it gave me the idea!
Make your tag with one or more butterflies, however you would like it.

My tag uses a collaged background from scraps and acrylic paints. I punched the butterflies from gold foil paper and stamped with a script stamp. They were attached over a torn piece from a sheet of music, and bits from the punch are scattered over the right side. The tag is edged with Golden Gel Bead Medium and gilt. 

Thanks to my daughter for suggesting the purple ribbon to bring out the purplish spot - it looks lovely on there!

Loved all the lovely summer tags!! I hope that all of you 

are enjoying your summer!

It's nice to be back making tags! Thank you very much for all of the warm wishes for my health. I am feeling better and I'm thankful.

Today's tag is for the color combo of black and orange, but NOT  Halloween or Autumn related! So, design your tag with anything else, just be sure not to use Halloween or Autumn as the theme.

My tag used distressed inks, chalk inks, rubber stamping, transfers, stencil, scraps from a book page and a brad with a harlequin design and fibers at the top.
